The Hellenic OCR Team announces the establishment of a collaborative partnership with the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives (HOLC).
This partnership constitutes a strategic advancement in the promotion of parliamentary research methodologies and the application of state-of-the-art open science principles to legislative processes on an international scale and expands opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration among legislative bodies worldwide.
Through this collaboration, the Hellenic OCR Team will contribute technical expertise in legislative text analysis utilizing emerging technologies, research insights derived from ten years of global parliamentary studies, and access to an international scientific network spanning nearly twenty jurisdictions. Participating HOLC attorneys will provide specialized knowledge in legislative drafting, offering practical perspectives from the U.S. legislative system and applying that knowledge and perspective to comparative analyses of parliamentary systems and legislation. Pursuant to HOLC’s confidentiality and ethical requirements, no non-public information will be shared by HOLC with the Hellenic OCR Team.
