The Hellenic OCR Team’s May 2021 newsletter is out – our 10th! It includes rich but concise information about the Team’s activities during the past quarter.
The highlighted topics include:
- Strategy issues: Use of Proofs-of-Concept to speed up scientific throughput and fully utilize the Team’s capacity.
- New projects: Based on the new strategy, the new projects have been initialized in the past quarter include: cybersecurity and regulation, recommender systems, Rules as Code (concluded)
- Team dynamics: Since January 2021, the Team has gained 7 new members (+19,4%). A partnership option is also possible for legal entities.
- Major scientific announcements: The Hellenic OCR Team initiative has been present in two significant EU conferences: ENDORSE & DigitALL.
A major paper on the digital parliament framework has been published in Big Data and Cognitive Computing, an open access journal by MDPI. The paper on “ParlTech: Transformation Framework for the Digital Parliament” can be accessed here.
