The IFLAPARL July 2018 newsletter just came out with an official announcement and presentation of the Hellenic OCR Team! The newsletter is a publication of the Library and Research Services for Parliaments section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).
The announcement is to be found on page 8 of the newsletter and contains plenty of information in relation to the Team’s organisation and goals, along with a short list of references on the methodology of data collection and processing for further reading. It is concluded with a call for cooperation towards the IFLAPARL community, in order to strengthen the bonds among its members and promote understanding of the challenges involving the creation of open data sets and the consequent analysis of parliamentary discourse. Moreover, the firm will of the Hellenic OCR Team to organise a collaborative event in the form of a hackathon within 2018 is stated.
