The Hellenic OCR Team (https://hellenicOCRteam.gr) and the American Governance Institute (AGI) (https://americalabs.org/) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a framework for collaboration to support parliamentary and democratic modernization. This strategic partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, institutional resilience and the responsible use of emerging technologies in governance. Through this collaboration, both organizations will focus on:
- Supporting the digital transformation of parliaments and democratic institutions;
- Advancing the use of emerging technologies, particularly AI, in the parliamentary workspace;
- Exchanging expertise, research insights and good practices;
- Exploring joint initiatives that enhance transparency, accessibility and effectiveness in democratic processes.
By combining the Hellenic OCR Team’s institutional experience with the American Governance Institute’s expertise in governance and policy innovation, the partnership aims to develop forward-looking, human-centered solutions that strengthen democracy in the digital age.
